Honey End Lane consists of 56 one bedroom en suite rooms with shared facilities and 3 two bedroom apartments, a purpose-built development for key workers located in Victory Close, Reading.

It is said that choosing a home is all about location, and Honey End Lane is right in every sense! Extremely close to the M4, Reading is just a short distance from Heathrow and a stone’s throw from the most sophisticated network of motorways in Europe. Honey End Lane has excellent public transport links to Reading town centre which boasts a wide range of shopping and leisure facilities. Just a 10 minute stroll from Reading West train station, with quick and easy access to Reading’s main line station also means that Honey End Lane residents are less than an hour from London’s west end. And if you want to stay at home – there is a huge ASDA superstore just round the corner!

Now under the management of LivingSpace, on behalf of A2 Housing Group, residents can come from the Trust itself, as well as neighbouring Trusts. In addition, we welcome people who provide key public roles in and around our main areas of residence. Whilst we will always put BHCT employees as our main priority, when available, we welcome ‘Key Workers’ to live within our bustling communities.

Our range of accommodation includes luxurious single en suite rooms with communal cooking and dining facilities in a cluster of four rooms, along with two bedroom self-contained apartments. Our rooms are fully furnished which means that you can have a ‘ready made’ home where you can start living from day one - all you need to provide is your own bedding. You can rest assured that the accommodation will be clean and welcoming, and you’ll be surrounded by friendly faces, many of whom are following similar career paths to yourself.

• Our rooms have a range of furniture to make the accommodation liveable from the moment you walk in… just bring your suitcase and bedding! All of our single rooms have en suite shower and toilet facilities
• At Honey End Lane you will find comprehensive coin operated launderette facilities
• All residents will receive a twice yearly newsletter detailing specific information in relation to their accommodation and supporting services
• There are regular ‘feedback’ meetings for residents to air their views on all accommodation matters directly to the A2 key worker accommodation team.
